Accurately tracking staff working hours is essential for managing payroll and ensuring compliance with labor regulations. This procedure outlines how staff members can clock in and out of their shifts, and how salon owners can review attendance records. Precise attendance tracking helps prevent disputes and supports efficient business operations.
To track staff working hours
- Log in to the admin portal using your email address and password. The dashboard appears after successful login.
- Locate the Clock In option at the top right corner of the dashboard. The clock in button is visible and ready to be selected.
- Click Clock In to start your shift. The system displays the current time as the start of your shift.
- Confirm by clicking Clock In again. Your shift is officially started, and a timer begins tracking your working hours automatically. Note: The timer ensures your working hours are recorded accurately.
- At the end of your shift, log back into your dashboard. The dashboard appears, allowing access to clock out functionality.
- Navigate to the Clock section. The clock section displays options for ending your shift.
- Click Clock Out to end your shift. Your working hours for the shift are finalized and recorded. Important: Always clock out at the end of your shift to ensure accurate attendance records.
Review Staff Attendance Records
Salon owners can monitor staff attendance to ensure shifts are properly tracked and to support payroll processing. Reviewing attendance regularly helps identify patterns and address any discrepancies promptly.
To review staff attendance records
- Go to Settings in the admin portal. The settings menu opens.
- Select Team from the settings menu. The team management section appears.
- Click Attendance under the Team section. The attendance records for all staff members are displayed.
- (Optional) Select a specific staff member to view their attendance records. The attendance history for the chosen staff member is shown.
- (Optional) Filter attendance records by date for detailed tracking. The system displays attendance records matching the selected date range. Note: Filtering by date helps you analyze attendance trends and verify shift timings.
