Customize Payroll Settings for Staff

Customizing payroll settings allows you to tailor pay rates, commissions, and tip percentages for each staff member. This ensures accurate compensation based on individual performance and preferences. Payroll customization is essential for businesses with diverse roles and responsibilities, as it helps maintain fairness and transparency. Customizing these settings ensures payroll calculations reflect each staff member’s actual work and contributions.

To customize payroll settings for staff

  1. Navigate to the Settings menu. The settings dashboard appears.
  2. Select the Payroll option. A list of your staff members is displayed.
  3. Choose a staff member from the list. The payroll customization screen for the selected staff member opens.
  4. Set the staff member’s hourly pay rate. The pay rate is applied and will be calculated based on their clock-in and clock-out times. Note: For example, you might pay a staff member $100 per hour.
  5. Assign commission based on the number of completed bookings. The commission is added to the staff member’s payroll for each booking completed.
  6. Customize the percentage of tips the staff member receives. The tip percentage is applied to their payroll.
    Note: For example, you can set a 5% commission on tips for a specific employee.
  7. Repeat steps 3–6 for each staff member as needed. All staff members have customized payroll settings. These settings can be adjusted at any time to reflect changes in roles or compensation.
