Book an Appointment for a Customer

Booking an appointment for a customer as an admin or salon owner streamlines scheduling and ensures both staff and customers are notified promptly. Using your admin portal, you can select a customer, choose their pet, assign services and staff, and confirm the booking. Customers receive notifications automatically based on your configured communication settings.

To book an appointment for a customer

  1. Navigate to the Customers section in your admin portal. The customer list appears.
  2. Select the customer you wish to book an appointment for. The customer's profile opens.
  3. Click Book Appointment. The appointment booking screen appears, displaying the customer's pet name.
  4. (Optional) If the customer has a new pet, click Add New Pet. The new pet entry form opens. Note: You can add pet details before proceeding with the booking.
  5. Choose the pet for the appointment. The selected pet is highlighted.
  6. Click Continue. The service selection screen appears.
  7. Select the desired service for the appointment. The service is added to the booking.
  8. Assign a specific staff member, or select Any Available Staff. The staff assignment is updated for the appointment. Note: Choosing 'Any Available Staff' allows the system to automatically assign a staff member based on availability.
  9. Pick the appointment date. The date is set for the booking.
  10. Click Confirm Booking to finalize the reservation. The booking is successfully added to your admin account.
  11. Customers receive notifications via email, WhatsApp, and SMS, depending on the communication settings configured in your admin portal. The customer is notified about their appointment automatically. Note: Ensure communication settings are correctly configured to enable notifications.
