Adding service agreements or consent forms to your booking portal ensures that customers acknowledge important terms before completing their bookings. This process allows you to customize agreement content, set signature requirements, and make agreements mandatory. Having agreements in place helps protect your business and clarifies expectations for customers.

To add a service agreement or consent form

  1. Navigate to Settings in your booking portal. The Settings menu opens.
  2. Select Customer Experience from the Settings menu. The Customer Experience section appears.
  3. Choose Agreements within Customer Experience. The Agreements page is displayed.
  4. Click Create Agreement. The agreement creation form opens.
  5. Enter a title for your agreement, such as "Service Agreement." The title is saved and displayed at the top of the agreement.
  6. Add the necessary agreement content. The content is shown to customers during booking. Note: You can select variables from the provided options to personalize the agreement.
  7. Set your preferred signature requirement. You can choose to require a signature only once, on every booking, or prompt manually. Note: For this example, enable one of these options as needed.
  8. (Optional) Make the agreement mandatory for bookings. The agreement must be accepted before customers can complete their booking.
  9. (Optional) Add updates to the agreement whenever needed. Updates are saved and reflected in future bookings.
  10. Click Create Agreement to save your new agreement. The agreement is successfully added to the system.

Customer Experience: Booking with a Service Agreement

Once a service agreement is added, customers will be prompted to review and accept it during the booking process. This ensures they understand and agree to your terms before confirming their appointment. Customers must complete all required fields and accept the agreement to finalize their booking.

To book an appointment with a service agreement

  1. Log in to the booking portal as a customer. The customer dashboard appears.
  2. Click Book New Appointment. The appointment booking screen opens.
  3. Select your pet from the list. The pet is chosen for the appointment.
  4. Choose a service for the appointment. The service is selected and displayed.
  5. Pick a specific staff member or select Available Staff. The staff member is assigned to the booking.
  6. Choose your preferred date and time. The appointment slot is reserved.
  7. Review the required agreement that appears. The terms and conditions are displayed for review.
  8. Enter your full name and provide a digital signature. Your acceptance of the agreement is recorded.
  9. Click Continue Booking. The booking process advances to confirmation.
  10. Agree to the terms and conditions and confirm your booking. The appointment is successfully booked.
