Add Company-Wide Holidays to the Booking Calendar

Adding company-wide holidays or non-working days to your booking calendar ensures that your business schedule accurately reflects days when services are unavailable. This helps prevent bookings on holidays and keeps your calendar up to date for both staff and clients. Setting holidays in the calendar streamlines scheduling and avoids confusion during non-working periods.

To add company-wide holidays to the booking calendar

  1. Navigate to Settings in your booking calendar application. The Settings menu opens, allowing access to business configuration options.
  2. Select Business from the Settings menu. The Business section appears, displaying options related to your company profile and operations.
  3. Click on Holidays. The Holidays management screen opens, where you can view, add, or edit company holidays.
  4. Click Add Holiday. The holiday entry form appears.
  5. Enter the holiday's name in the provided field. The name is recorded and will be displayed on the calendar.
  6. Choose the holiday's start date. The start date is set and marks the beginning of the non-working period.
  7. (Optional) Enable the multi-day option if the holiday lasts for several days. Additional fields appear to set the end date. a. Set the holiday's end date. The end date is recorded, defining the full duration of the holiday.
  8. (Optional) Select Repeats every year if the holiday is annual. The holiday will automatically recur each year on the same dates.
  9. Click Add Holiday to save the entry. The holiday is successfully added to the booking calendar and will block bookings for the specified dates. Note: You can manage or edit holidays from the Holidays screen at any time.
